Apply with your book
Tell us your title, audience, wholesale pricing, timeline, and special edition vision. We review each application to make sure the project is a strong fit.
Special Edition Preorder Campaigns
Turn your book into a custom special edition without purchasing dozens or hundreds of copies upfront. Send us your book. We create the sample, build the preorder campaign, produce the edition once it funds, and ship directly to your readers.
A lower-risk path to special editions
Our preorder model lets you show readers the finished edition first, validate demand, and move into production only after the campaign reaches its minimum.
From sample to reader

Send 1–2 finished copies to the studio. We print the sample edge and prepare the edition for photography and video.
We photograph and film the finished edition, create launch graphics, and build the preorder listing for readers.
The campaign runs for a limited window. At 50 paid preorders, the edition moves into production.
After the campaign closes, ERBS buys the books from you wholesale, produces the special editions, and ships directly to readers.
Campaign setup
The setup fee covers the creative and administrative work that happens before a bulk production order ever begins.
No bulk inventory purchase before demand is proven
The author pays the $295 campaign setup fee and provides 1–2 finished sample books. Custom edge artwork, if needed, begins at $100.
After the campaign closes, ERBS purchases the required quantity from the author at the wholesale price agreed before launch. We do not ask the author to purchase the entire special edition print run upfront.
Readers purchase through the campaign and pay shipping at checkout. ERBS produces, packs, and ships the finished special editions directly to customers.
If the campaign reaches 50
The campaign remains open through its scheduled close date so additional readers can join. Then we lock the final quantity, order wholesale inventory plus production overage, print the editions, and begin fulfillment.
If it does not reach 50
If the campaign does not reach 50 paid preorders, the edition does not enter bulk production and you are not required to purchase inventory. Reader orders are refunded. The campaign setup fee remains nonrefundable because sample production, photography, video, graphics, listing setup, and campaign preparation have already been completed.
Designed for the right projects
Final trim size, edition format, and production details should be known before campaign preparation begins.
You need to be able to sell finished books to ERBS at an agreed wholesale price and provide a realistic production lead time.
ERBS provides campaign assets and may promote through our platforms, but authors are expected to actively promote their preorder throughout the campaign.
All submitted artwork must be owned or properly licensed by the author and must comply with Enchanted Realm Book Studio's human-created-art standards.
The practical bits
No. That is the point of this program. The preorder campaign tests reader demand first. If the campaign funds, ERBS uses campaign revenue to purchase the production inventory from you wholesale.
The setup fee covers work completed before production: sample edge printing, photography, video, promotional graphics, listing setup, campaign administration, and planning. It is nonrefundable even if the campaign does not reach its preorder minimum.
No. You can provide production-ready artwork, or ERBS can create custom edge artwork starting at $100 depending on complexity.
ERBS builds campaign pricing from the landed wholesale book cost, special edition production requirements, packaging, fulfillment, payment processing, and campaign economics. The proposed retail price is finalized before launch.
The campaign continues until its scheduled closing date. The final paid preorder count becomes the basis for the production order, plus a small studio-determined overage for quality control and replacements.
ERBS manages the preorder storefront, production fulfillment, packing, and customer shipping for campaign orders. Readers pay shipping at checkout unless a campaign specifically states otherwise.
Apply for a campaign
This program is application-based. We review the book, production economics, timeline, audience, and special edition concept before accepting a campaign.
A special edition with a safety net
Then we turn those preorders into finished books headed straight for your readers' shelves.
